Original 13 is a 13 oz Japanese selvedge denim jean — a sturdy, mid-weight. 100% cotton, no stretch. Selvedge denim is an indicator of craftsmanship. Original 13 has come from an artisan-focused mill in Okayama, Japan since 2010.
Deep navy yarns brought to a mid wash. Clean exterior. No leather patch, no back pocket stitching, no labels. Light handsanding and stonewashing begins the breaking-in process naturally. No whiskering or fake fade lines.
